European SIMMOD™ User Group Meeting

ATAC hosts first AEDT DRG Meeting

ATAC is pleased to announce that it will be hosting the first Aviation Environmental Design Tool (AEDT) Design Review Group (DRG) meeting 8-9 March 2007. Approximately 40 people are expected to attend the meeting, including representatives from the FAA, the Australian DOT, Georgia Tech, MIT, Boeing, Ricondo, Landrum & Brown, HNTB, and other consulting companies.

NEXTOR Universities, UC Berkeley and Virginia Tech, license Simmod PRO!

ATAC Corporation is pleased to announce an agreement with the National Center of Excellence for Aviation Operations Research (NEXTOR) that will give researchers at the University of California, Berkeley, and the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) access to the Simmod PRO! rules-based airport and airspace modeling and simulation product. Researchers at NEXTOR will now have access to the world's leading airport and airspace analysis software.

NASMOD obtains NMCI Certification

On September 13, NASMOD achieved NMCI certification and will be available for deployment throughout the NMCI. System training began in Q1FY07 and the first training session was held November 29-30 at Port Hueneme, CA. The next training session will be held at NAS Corpus Christi in late February. All Navy and Marine Corps personnel interested in attending training should contact the Navy NASMOD program manager, Alan Zusman, at (202) 685-9181.
